Back in the 2000s, there was a website called Hot or Not.[1] You could see various selfies and rate their attractiveness on a scale of 1–10.
Enter Simon Wright.
Wright was not the most handsome man in the world.
But he did have a plan involving Hot or Not. While he knew he was no Brad Pitt or Ewan McGregor, Wright figured he was at least hotter than Adolf Hitler. And he set out to prove it.
Most Hitler selfies aren’t fantastic. I don’t think Hitler would have done great on Tinder, even if he wasn’t, you know, Hitler.
“I’d ask for your number, but I can see it on your arm.”
But Wright wanted to prove he was more handsome than even the best looking version of Hitler. That meant he used his photo editing skills to give Hitler a bit of sex appeal. The Hot or Not contest was on!

Unsurprisingly, Handsome Hitler won. The Hot or Not users considered Handsome Hitler in the top 20% of hottest people.
This is the most handsome version of Hitler I can find. To make any Hot or Not contest fair, we’ll have to use the best Handsome Stalin we can find. And while middle-aged Stalin wasn’t exactly a model, young Stalin is a different story.
“How would you like to seize the means of reproduction?”
And if we look through the internet, some people are willing to give Handsome Stalin the color treatment.
“Roses are red, so is the state, you are so beautiful, let’s go on a date”
So who’s Hot and who’s Not? You decide.
