Have you ever seen someone ruin their life in just a few seconds? How did they do it?

I hope she ruined her life.

I’ve read some of the other answers and most of them were immensely unfortunate (especially where some stupid teens ended their lives trying to get viral on TikTok).

In my answer however, I can’t help but feel satisfied when I see that Natalia Kills ruined her career and life, along with that of her husband, Willy Moon.

This is what happened:

After a good performance by Joe Irvine on the second season of X Factor New Zealand where he touched the hearts of the audience with his melodious voice, the apparent judge and famous singer Natasha Kills whose only duty was to critique his performance completely went bonkers… and do you know why?

It wasn’t because of his performance.

It wasn’t because of his attitude.

Hell, it wasn’t because of anything rational.

It was because of the way he dressed.

That’s right, as soon as his performance ended, Natasha started furiously accusing the contestant of copying her husband’s “look”.

Here’s the “lovely” couple:

Willy Moon, who also happens to be a famous singer, is her husband and was on the judging panel. He compared Irvine to fictional murderer Norman Bates spitting the following words:

“It’s like Norman Bates dressing up in his mother’s clothing. It’s all a little bit creepy, It feels like you’re going to stitch someone’s skin to your face and then kill everybody in the audience.”

Irvine was just dressed in a suit, like most men singing on the show. However, Natalia Kills called him a “doppelganger” and said that he was “disgusting” and that he “makes her sick”.

Really? That far?

But she didn’t stop there. She went on to remorselessly comment the following:

“As an artist who respects creative integrity and intellectual property, I am disgusted at how much you have copied my husband. From the hair to the suit, do you not have any value or respect for originality? You’re a laughing stock. It’s cheesy, it’s disgusting — I personally found it absolutely artistically atrocious.”

“It’s absolutely disgusting. You have no identity,” she continued her attack. “I can’t stand it. I’m ashamed to be here.”

Wait, what the Hell?

Did Moon copyright his hairstyle or something? I hope Natalia never walks into a wedding, she’s going to be horrified seeing all the men in their suits.

Anyways, after the uncalled-for attack, the audience flipped on Kills and Moon as did the public in general. Almost instantly people rallied behind Joe and a 70,000+ signature petition to have the two ruthless judges fired from the show.

As expected, both of them were fired.

Joe Irvine received tremendous support from celebrities such as (my favorite) Ed Sheeran

and Lorde

Now what happened to the couple that ruined their lives?

After getting fired, Natalia became public enemy number one. As a result, she changed her name to Teddy Sinclair — combining both her childhood nickname and Willy Moon’s real last name — and started to release music with her husband through the band name Cruel Youth, which is oddly fitting considering cruelty is how this whole thing started.

She has released more music, but all in vain. She is now widely hated by the world, and her fan base is a far cry of what it was. To this day, she receives animosity from the public both on social media and in real life.

For a person who accused Irvine of having no identity, Natalia Kills changed her name to Teddy Sinclair, the seventh time she has changed her name.

Even the critic of critics, Simon Cowell, called Natalia’s actions “hateful”.
