Is it true that there is no workload in PSUs?

Is it true that there is no workload in PSUs?

I dont know about the other employees , but I have a sufficient workload in my organisation. And let me clarify that PSU jobs are not a typical Sarkari job, we have to work to generate profit and get our salaries and bonuses. We are not dependent on the taxes paid by a TCS engineer whose in-hand salary is 18336 rupees.

Since I work in a thermal power plant, and sometimes in the case of an emergency, we have to go to local areas and operate the valves if the labour is unavailable or it's very urgent.

A few days back, it was the shift changeover time and suddenly the Hotwell level started to increase, and as per order, I immediately opened the drain valve to control it.

It's a myth that PSU have less workload. From the outside, PSU jobs look cool and high-paying, but once you join the organisation, the actual picture is entirely different.

In reality, it is a tough job ( mainly due to the place of posting) with a decent salary; the only advantage is the job security and medical benefits over normal jobs.

This answer is about Engineers only, can not comment on much about the HR, IT , Fiancne and Employees who are posted in corporate offices in cities.

GRWM for my Evening shift.

Regards

A Wannabe Engineer
