I’m writing this while still sitting at the construction site.
This past month has been very hectic. I’ve been traveling 150–200 km every day along with physical work. Recently, I even stayed at the site for 35 hours straight without a break.
I barely had time for anything other than work.
Most days, I’d just go to my room to sleep and be up again by 7 AM to repeat the same cycle. These kinds of situations don’t happen often, maybe a few times a year but when they do, they are really hectic.
During this time, I couldn’t eat properly or get enough rest. I had constant headaches and was exhausted almost all the time. Mentally and physically, I was completely drained.
It made me realise that work is important, but so is having time to live your life outside of it.
When work is manageable, I get to enjoy evening snacks, talk to family, sleep well, and even play badminton, something I haven’t been able to do for the last 30–40 days.
Finally, things are starting to return to normal. I’m really looking forward to spending some time on myself again.
Thanks.
