The chances of getting what you want are determined by you . Most of the time , you consciously and unconsciously act out , behave , react , and over-react from a space of your preconditioned past-self - a memory of your self-image - of what you believe to be true about yourself .
The main problem is literally not what you think it is . Life circumstance , personal problems , this person did that to me , that person did this to me , living environment , and every story you tell yourself are not the real problems of reality .
You see . The only thing that is getting in the way of what you want is yourself . You don’t understand it because you are actually both the problem and the solution .
Most people are afraid to face their problem as their own because it’s difficult to accept at first - “ Who me ! I’m not the problem ! “
They unknowingly choose new problems or difficulties that may appear different at first but it’s the same old problem that they never took the time to help themselves up to learn and to grow in order to solve the problem on their own .
As soon as you learn how to connect what you know ( good solid information ) with what you do ( consistent action ) together as an effective effort forward in life regardless of how uncomfortable it feels , you are closer to getting what you want .
Eventually , on the path starts and off the beaten path begins to happen in real life .
Without persistent action while telling yourself “ I know everything there is to know ! ” is the best way to learn about self-sabotage and actually gets you further away from what you want .
