1. Don’t stare at her from across the room.
Flash her a glance, see if she reciprocates, but don’t stare her down.
You'll look like a mental patient.
(This is different than holding mutual eye contact - with experience, you'll know the difference.)
2. Don’t make constant comments about her body.
She is not going to respond the way you think.
Once you show you are not a creep, you will be able to make more sexual comments, and she will take the comments in a fun spirit.
3. Be organic in talking with her.
Don’t rush right to questions about relationship status or sex.
You'll look needy and desperate.
Remember you are having fun, not focused on her personal life.
4. Don’t force your own topics on her.
Let the conversation flow.
Don't shove your political views down her throat.
Listen to what she says and play off that.
5. Be very careful about physical presence.
Don’t stand over her or corner her against a wall.
Make sure she doesn’t feel trapped or helpless.
6. Don’t put her up on a pedestal or make cheesy comments about her.
Pickup lines are still pickup lines and, to most women, lame and creepy.
7. Never touch a woman unless you are shaking her hand or touching her arm.
With practice, you will know when you've reached a point in the conversation where it is proper and acceptable to escalate.
