I am not sure. But I suspect it is only a tiny minority of Trump supporters who claim this. An astonishing 45% of Trump supporters support the attack on the Capitol Building, so presumably they are content (and proud) that it was done by Trump supporters. Of the remaining 55%, I suspect it must only be a tiny few who believe this was some weird kind of false flag action.
We already know the identities of several people involved, and they all appear to be (with due respect to the dead) right wing nut jobs.
Most easily identified is the protester who was killed, Ashli Babbitt. A veteran of two tours of duty in Afghanistan, Ms Babbitt embraced far right conspiracy theories.
Almost as easily identified was the shirtless protester wearing the horned helmet. His name is Jake Angeli, and he is reportedly a familiar face at pro-Trump rallies and also a big promoter of QAnon conspiracy theories.
The man photographed with his feet up on Pelosi’s desk has been identified as Richard Barnett - an avid Trump supporter:
For many of the others, we don’t know their names yet. But they aren’t exactly hiding. And they didn’t behave much like you would expect of Antifa supporters:
The FBI are in the process of identifying all the parties. I think most Trump supporters are pretty cognisant of the fact that it is highly likely that every single one of them will be shown to have a social media profile which indicates strong support with far right causes and conspiracy theories.
