Which are Marvel's most powerful families?

I will now mention one of Marvel’s most powerful families.

This is Odin’s family.

Let’s get to know them.

Odin Borson.

  • Former All-Father of the Nine Worlds.
  • A being whose hand tore into the fabric of the universe itself, made the heavens tremble and threatened the end of the universe from its mere existence alone, was a rival to a weaker version of him.
  • Rebuilt a fully-formed, complex universe with its own space-time into a war engine with his footsteps.
  • Headbutted Galactus.
  • An entire universe filled with gods are labeled as pawns and cannon fodder to him.
  • Older than the mortal universe.
  • Hung the stars itself.
  • Scared a God of Fear that was an All-Father.
  • Fought a galaxy-sized super-storm and won.
  • Gets the ladies.

Freyja Freyrdottir.

  • Represented one part of the trinity that is the All-Mother of Asgardia.
  • A worthy wife to Odin.
  • Wielded Bitterblade.
  • Killed the World Serpent.
  • Lead Valhalla itself.

Gaea—Daughter to the Demiurge.

  • Related to almost every single pantheon of gods.
  • Elder Goddess of the Earth.
  • Mother to Thor.
  • Represented one part of the trinity that is the All-Mother of Asgardia.
  • Ignored a powerful assault from the original Defenders. (Not that kind of assault.)

Cul Borson.

  • The power of the Avengers are childlike compared to him.
  • Thor states him to be an equal to Odin.
  • Grows in power when feeding on the fear of others.
  • Took Thor wearing armor that Odin once wore and wielding a sword that can slice the World Tree in half to kill him. And even then, he had to be distracted by a long distant memory.
  • The Worthy, a group that has an Asgardian Hammer-Enhanced Hulk, were stated to be his avatars.

Bor Burison.

  • One of the gods that created the universe itself.
  • When weakened, even an Odinforce Thor states that without the Odinforce, he would’ve been killed instantly.
  • Said to have planted the World Tree.
  • The father and superior to Odin and Cul.
  • The first All-Father or king of all things.
  • Birthed worlds.

Thor Odinson.

  • Said to be the death of Galactus.
  • Now wields the Odinforce.
  • Did a feat that he states that Odin could never do.
  • The Herald of Thunder.
  • The new All-Father.
  • Wields a hammer that has a galaxy-sized super-storm within it.
  • One of the founders of the Avengers.

Loki Laufeyson.

  • Became the God of Stories.
  • Made Those Who Sit Above In Shadow question their existence.
  • The king of the Frost Giants.
  • Expert trickster and mischief-maker.
  • The first enemy of the Avengers.
  • A future version of himself that wielded a god-killing sword is a superior to previous user of it. The previous user had enough power to defeat three Thors—one of which was an All-Father more powerful than Odin.

Balder Odinson.

  • Was once the king of Hel.
  • His only weakness is said to be mistletoe.
  • His death threatened to bring Ragnarok.

Tyr Odinson.

Really don’t know much about this dude other than he’s pretty strong and was a lover of Hela.

Aldrif Odinsdottir.

I also don’t know much of this character other than she was the firstborn of Odin and flew faster than angels.

Hela—Alleged Daughter of Loki.

  • Toyed around with Thor.
  • The Queen of Hel.
  • Stated that space and time do not apply to her.
  • Was Thanos’ girlfriend.
  • Stated by Mephisto that if he and Hela fought, they’d cause “Omniversal Armaggedon.” (Note: This is probably an outlier and Omniverse has been used as a synonym for Multiverse.)

And that’s Odin’s family.
