The best sandwiches in the world are from UK.
We dare to go where no-one else dares to go.
Many of us know that too many carbs are not good for you but someone has forgot to tell the Brits.
We use the double carb method and sometimes the triple carb method to make them.
Carb overload at it’s finest.
Let me present:
The chip butty (double carb). The original and the best.
The crisp butty (double carb). This is the basic one but we can go posh with McCoys.
The Pot noodle butty (double carb). Weird but wonderful. This one has a cult following.
The sugar butty (double carb). Just a sprinkling of sugar will turn two slices of cheap white bread into a delightful snack.
The sprinkle sandwich. It’s similar to the sugar one but more kid enticing.
The jam butty (double carb). Always generous with the strawberry jam.
The syrup butty (double carb).
The scallop butty (triple carb). Yes, we dare to put potato in deep fried better and then buttify it.
Some have even gone wild with a mish mash of several of the above fillings, thus leading to triple, quadruple or more carb hit.
I’ll just let you mind boggle.
……and if you thought that was bad enough, we put other stuff in such as pizza, pies etc in butties.
As a matter of fact, if it’s carb based, it’s been buttified by a Brit.
