How do I motivate myself to exercise?

Apply the 15 minutes rule in your life!

  1. Dress up in your workout clothes, and feel the vibe.
  2. Put your favorite playlist on or listen to some motivational podcast.
  3. Set that timer to 15 minutes.
  4. Schedule your workouts according to your energy levels- whether it’s in the morning or evening, chose the time that best suits you.
  5. Treat yourself after each workout session, like eating something you love or having a cup of tea any thing.
  6. Workout in front of a mirror, if you don't have a trainer. It's like you're under your own surveillance. When you look at yourself in the mirror, you be your own trainer.

Stop giving excuses like- my corporate job doesn't permit me to work out, or I still have 2 more episodes to finish that TV series or I’ll just do it tomorrow. Believe tomorrow never comes, and then you are stuck in a loop, trying to find motivation everywhere else, except inside yourself.

And honestly, all it demands is just 15 minutes!

I mean, you do have time to poop or stalk your crush? Then why not squeezing out 15 minutes out of your 24 hours just for the sake of “your” body. Compare the ratio, it's just “15 minutes” out of your whole day.

You really don't need to love it, because love doesn't work long enough as a driving force to keep you going, some day or another you're gonna run out of the motivation. For example, you don't love brushing your teeth, but you do it anyway, and everyday because it's a daily necessity, I don't think anyone puts much thought into it.

Similarly, an exercise routine should be strictly emphasized in your daily life.

Better do it for 15 minutes than not doing it at all, it'll reap you 1000s of benefits, instantly make you happy, and you'll never age, always stay fit and healthy.

At the end of these 15 minutes, you'll feel so energized and refreshed, that you'll go on for another 15 minutes. And another 15 minutes and voila, soon it’d turn into a new habit! :)

In this way, you'd be devoting your time exclusively to your wellness.
