How to eat Mexican food.

I have seen these things happen several times in my life, so I just want to address it here:

  1. When traveling in Mexico, never ever put salsa on your food without trying it first. Every restaurant makes salsa a bit differently, so what may look like a very palatable salsa will sometimes burn every single one of your tastebuds and make your meal completely inedible.
  2. For the love of god, remove the wrapper from a tamale before eating it.
