The most emotional pictures that will make you cry.

The most emotional pictures that will make you cry.

Leaving your family behind is one of hardest parts about being deployed overseas when you’re a soldier—especially when there’s no guarantee you’ll ever be able to see them again. Here, soldier Terri Gurrola holds her daughter and cries tears of joy after returning from a seven-month tour in Iraq.

After looking at these pictures, most people can’t help but appreciate the real emotions that the photographers were able to capture. It’s a beautiful collection of humanity at its most vulnerable!

A goodbye message from the desert!

A Sudani family was crossing the desert towards Libya before their car broke down. Since literally nobody was around to help they slowly starved.. and died. They were found today morning by border patrol 250km away from the small city of Alkufra in southeastern Libya.

What is so heartbreaking to me is the message one of them left. Written in Arabic it literally says :

“ To whom finds this message :

This is my brother’s number Muhammad Salah Aldin… Goodbye and I’m sorry I couldn’t bring my mom to you! My dad and Nasir love you. Pray for us. “
