But this lawsuit which was expected to be thrown out or settled out of court by this point has lasted nearly 2 years, and the stakes only continue to climb, counter-sues flying all over the place, both Heard and Depp are going all in, to a point where pulling it out for a quieter solution is not feasible at this point.
Heard is in a lose lose situation. Even if she wins this case, her reputation is damaged beyond repair by a single film. Its made ten times worst as she is an ambassador to the ACLU, Humans Rights Champion for the UN and prior to the lawsuit was seen as a symbol of good will within the #Metoo movement.
It really doesn’t matter at this point if she wins, everybody has already made up their mind who she is to them. She has failed to keep this away from her image and reputation as an actress and fail to keep this down. And that is the reason why I don’t see any feasible way why WB would keep her. She is nothing but bad publicity. DC and WB especially don’t need anymore bad publicity than they already have going on right now. Unfortunate, she was a good Mera.
