What is the possibility of a zombie apocalypse occurring on our planet?

No. There are two main reasons why.

Firstly, zombies don’t exist.

Secondly, if zombies did exist, they have a critical evolutionary flaw:

For zombies (in most of their fictional depictions), human beings are (i) their primary food source, (ii) their main predator, and (iii) their source of reproduction. In nature, if one species fills two of those roles in relation to another, the second species will almost certainly become extinct. In the case of zombies/humans, it is all three. The zombies are toast, according to evolutionary biology. No need to fret, no matter what those liars on The Walking Dead say.
