Meet Natalia Kills.
She’s a singer, who went viral when she humiliated someone on X Factor.
Before she was invited to be a judge on X Factor, Natalia had a few successful songs, and was a guest on many radio shows, interviews, etc.
She was having a relatively prosperous career as a singer, and things were sailing smooth for her.
However, things started looking down in late 2014.
Sometime in 2014, news that Natalia and her now-husband, Willy Moon, were going to be judges and mentors on the popular reality-talent show, X Factor.
This husband-wife duo were joined by Melanie Blatt and Stan Walker, who were already on the show as judges.
On the first episode of Season 2 of The X Factor, which was aired on March 15, 2015, a contestant by the name of ‘Joe Irvine’ had come to audition in front of the judges.
The moment that Joe Irvine stepped onto the stage, Natalia Kills would single-handedly ruin her own career with just a few words.
After Joe had finished his audition, which was a lovely performance of him singing, Natalia told him that she was ‘disgusted’ by the way he had supposedly copied her husband, Willy Moon.
For reference, here’s a picture of both of them:

She then continues to berate him about how he was quite obviously copying her husband, saying things such as
As an artist who respects creative integrity and intellectual property, I am disgusted at how much you have copied my husband. From the hair to the suit, do you not have any value or respect for originality?
Then, she proceeds to insult him further, calling him a ‘laughingstock’.
You’re a laughingstock! It’s cheesy, it’s disgusting, I personally found it absolutely artistically atrocious. I am embarrassed to be sitting here, in your presence, having to even dignify you, with an answer of my opinion.
All the while when she says this, the crowd continues to boo at her, and the judges try to interrupt.
After the show was released, both Kills and Moon received immense backlash, while Irvine was getting support. People on social media called the duo ‘bullies’ and that they ‘deserved to be fired’.
Fans even went as far as to make a petition for both of them to be removed from the show.
The very next day, Natalia Kills and Willy Moon were fired.
Fans and celebrities alike both showed Irvine vast amounts of support.
The singer, Lorde, known for her hit song, Royals, sent Irvine a box of cupcakes and a note.
Ellie Goulding, another big singer, tweeted about the whole situation, and backed Irvine up.
In my honest opinion, Natalia crossed the line too much when she started insulting him and humiliating him in front of everyone in the audience and everyone watching the show.
Hopefully, she learns from her mistakes.
