Do men feel about women the same as women feel about babies?

I’m a man and contrary to popular belief and stereotypes, I am probably more baby-crazy than most women. This probably has to do with the fact that I don’t have to be the one push them out myself. Giving birth is pretty brutal and not for the faint of heart, and in this sense any woman who has already given birth to my children and any who might still give birth to more, is a true Spartan in my eyes.

Giving birth is hardcore. Giving birth is metal as shit. It’s badass. It’s brutal. And I admire women so, so much for giving birth. Whereas for another woman, it’s just “a boat we’re all in”, for me as a man it’s a boat I’ll never be in. And damn, I’m glad I’m not. Pity my daughters quite a bit for this reason, though.

I don’t know how all men or all women feel about babies. But I do know how I, personally, feel — amazed, grateful, and in awe.
