Are the late trends enough for Biden to offset Trump’s victory declaration?

They don't need to be.

Trump’s “victory declaration” is MEANINGLESS.

Candidates don't run the elections; states and county election boards do. These are thousands of dedicated public servants, Republicans and Democrats, all across the country, with a single goal of preserving the integrity of our constitutional democracy.

Every. Single. Disputed. Ballot.

In

Every. Single. Polling place in America is adjudicated by a Republican AND Democratic official to agree on validity and voter intent and if they cannot agree they turn it over to two independent nonpartisan auditors who make the decision.

Count all the LEGAL votes, Mr President? ABSOLUTELY. MAIL IN VOTES ARE LEGAL.

Votes that are for your opponent are LEGAL.

A vote that is not for Donald Trump isn't a Fraud. It’s an American voice, and only someone who HATES America would seek to silence it.

When all the votes are counted, it’s first to the post. Whoever gets enough votes in enough states to earn 270 electoral votes wins. Period.

And when those wins are certified by the various election boards, the winner IS the President-elect. And the President-elect is sworn in as President at noon on January 20, with or without the participation of the previous president, who by the Constitution is no longer President the second the clock strikes 12 EST. Period.

The Trump Campaign can and will sue to challenge different aspects of different ways votes were counted in different states. They will demand recounts of some races, and in some states, the counts will be close enough that by state law they will have that right.

At the end of the day, none of that is likely to have any impact on the result, especially if Georgia and Pennsylvania keep trending the way they have all day today.

Listen to Biden. That’s how a candidate is supposed to behave.

You know.
