My parents are ardent followers of Astrology and they don’t take any decision in life without the help of an Astrologer. And I always hated this whole concept of asking a pandit about your own decisions. Like how would he know?!

I have gone through various heated arguments with my mom for the same reason as I wanted her to stop doing that.

But destiny has its own way of making you love the things you hated the most. Today, I am running the biggest platform in the field of Astrology.

What changed? Before leaving my job in 2015 to start an IT services company, a colleague, who was also an Astrologer, forced down a prediction on me. I didn’t ask for it and I also made fun of her but she told me how my next 4 years are going to be. (Every astrologer has this habit of predicting your future, even when you don’t want to know :P And she was no different. Anyway)

She had predicted that my company would do very well for 2 years but then the downfall will start after my partner would leave.

And as she had told, the company did very well & we had a team size of 45. Also, my partner did leave me in March 2017 & the business went down and then the company got shut down by end of 2017. (We lost most of our clients after demonetisation in Nov 2016 and were unable to revive from it)

I was surprised how could this happen. How could someone predict the downfall even before starting the company? How could someone tell me that my partner would leave even before I had partnered with anyone?

This was too much of a surprise for me as I always thought astrologers had just one pet dialogue, “You are not getting as much as you put in the efforts” which is true for everyone. But that colleague has predicted some real shit.

That’s when I thought of starting up in the field of Astrology and recruit Astrologers like her, who can really help people. I understood how some self-proclaimed astrologers would do fraud with my parents to earn money. I thought I would change that and bring some honesty into this business.

Today, we have completed 3 years in business and are valued over USD 150 Million.
