What mainstream media did not catch on was that as Bollywood was becoming inert, true creativity was flowering in films outside Bollywood. Best Indian films are coming from languages other than Hindi. Media was too caught up in glare and glitz of Bollywood they themselves created.

Sorry sir bt Bollywood is so useless in language too bcz Bollywood mostly use mixture of Urdu and English words to form sentence. Only Maula, Allah & not once Ram, Krishna, Ishwar words r being used in good context in Bollywood. I stopped watching Bollywood crap like 10 yrs back.

Indeed! Considering the absolutely wonderful content Malayalam & Tamil films churn out film after film,how and why is it that 'Bollywood' is the torch bearer of Indian cinema?Thanks to OTT, films in other languages are reaching a wider audience & getting due recognition.High times.
