How does it feel to have a six-pack abs?

It took me less than 4 months to reach from 19% body fat to a six pack.

And trust me when I tell you, six pack is easier to get than those clean obliques you see here.

And that is the reason I felt vain but, only for a little while.

The moment you realise the effort you had to put in to reach those few seconds of invincibility, you feel grateful and start from the scratch.

I started working out because I was angry and angry because I was in depression.

I was throwing away everything I had.

I started at the end of December 2017 and got obsessed with getting abs.

And not because I wanted to be a model, but I wanted to be as perfect as possible as I thought that’d save me.

So, I started going to a gym in Pune (MultiFit, Baner) where all the trainers told me I couldn't get what I wanted and should rather focus on bulking for a few months and then cutting.
It all sounded so stupid to me mainly because it didn't feel right.
Why would I get fat for a few months and then start losing the same fat ?

And that’s where my arrogance helped me for once.

I read everything I could find online and started experimenting with my exercise routine and diet.

And it clicked.

I went on a Ketogenic diet for 2 and a half months. I abstained from everything that wasn't chicken, cheese or butter.

No cheat day, not even a cheat meal during that period.

And now, the other members at the gym ask me how to get in shape rather than the trainers !

That’s how good I became.

Now, I could help others and that made me the happiest.
I know how important that is because when I started out, I had no help.

In less than 4 months, I went from aspiring to inspiring.

Thank you for reading.

P.S : Sorry for making you guys read a bit more.

Thank you all for your kind words and it is overwhelming to have this kind of response.

Before I tell my diet and exercise plan, please note that genetics will play a huge role in your progress but having said that nothing will stop you from getting an aesthetic body if you work hard and most importantly, eat right.

Diet will play the biggest role in your transformation.

I hope you guys have read the answer but if you haven't then do know that I did not have a single cheat meal for 2 and a half month.

I followed a Ketogenic diet wherein you eat lots of fat and moderate amount of protein and if you can, then no carbohydrates except for vegetables.

Now read very carefully because what I tell you from now on will be the opposite of whatever others (trainers, gym owners etc.) have told you.

It worked for me and I hope you guys can find something useful from it.

I work out 6 days a week.

Monday: Chest (focus on dumbbells)

Tuesday: Back

Wednesday: Shoulders and Triceps

Thursday: Biceps and Cardio

Friday: Legs

Saturday: Full Body Workout or your weakest muscle group

Now the contentious part of the regime.

I work on my abs everyday !

I focus on my core/abs one day and then on my obliques the next day.

You’d soon realise if you start your workout that obliques would be even harder to get than abs.

Focus a lot on conditioning.
You’d be able to progress faster.

Now the protein intake would depend on your goal and your daily calorie requirements.
Get your BMR/BMI done and prepare a diet afterwards.

I only eat 3 thrice a day.

I eat an omelette of 6 eggs made in ghee with a cheese slice for my lunch.

Then, I eat 100 grams of Paneer fried in ghee at around 5–6 PM with peanuts.

My dinner is usually 200–300 grams of chicken breast( not boiled, but made in ghee and only after marinating the chicken in curd, ginger paste and a few other spices).

I take a scoop of Whey after workout with coconut oil and then a scoop of Casein before sleeping with a tablespoon of ghee and olive oil.

That’s about it.

I don’t think any diet plan can be easier than this.

So, I hope I’ve answered everybody’s queries but in case something is left, I’d be happy to respond.

And before I end, the most important thing before you start your journey or make changes to your regime.

Motivation would be the key.

Money would get you a trainer and a dietician but you won't be able to buy the fire required in your belly to achieve this.

I wanted abs badly. Not because I wanted to be a model but because having abs would mean that I did everything the right way.
And trust me, if you want to do this to get girls or guys, you’d lose the focus very soon.

So find a good reason to push yourself beyond the limits.

In my experience, increasing size of your biceps and chest is the easiest thing to do, even if you eat not so healthy.

But abs would require eating healthy and way more sacrifice than the usual liftings.

I’d be happy to help in case somebody needs more information on how I did it.

Thank you

And just to tell you guys how my regime has not only helped me but also push the boundaries, this one my latest photo.
