In Bihar’s Makhnaha village, Rakesh Saini called 22-year-old photographer Sushil Kumar to record the birthday party of Rakesh’s daughter.
When Sushil was video recording the on-going party, the battery of his camera drained and the recording was interrupted.
The failure of the camera made Rakesh very angry. He began verbally abusing Sushil. And then, he took his revolver, pushed it into Sushil’s mouth, and pulled the trigger.
Rakesh and his friends rushed Sushil to Darbhanga Hospital (DMCH), left him bleeding outside the gate, and ran away.
The hospital staff took Sushil to the emergency ward, but he could not be saved.
The news spread like wildfire and villagers blocked a main road the next day. They demanded immediate arrest of Rakesh Sahni.
After Sushil’s father filed an FIR, it was revealed that Rakesh was a criminal already with involvement in illegal trade of alcohol. As of now, 3 men have been arrested, but Rakesh is absconding.
