Death Valley:
When it is at its hottest, there isn’t much that can survive there. It has the highest recorded temperature on Earth, at 134 degrees Fahrenheit in 1913. (56.7 degrees Celsius)
It is stuck in a rainshadow between two elevations, which results in it being extremely dry, and an absorbent of heat.
It sits on salt basins as well which exacerbate the heat.
Get lost in Death Valley at the wrong time of year, and you won’t be getting out.
