What is your opinion of a celebrity like 44-year-old Leonardo DiCaprio dating 21-year-old models exclusively?

A tale as old as time, I’m surprised this is even a question of interest. I thought by now we would have evolved to talk about more outrageous topics like being in a Throuple, transgender relationships, etc. In DiCaprio’s case, it is extremely fair to both parties. He and his girlfriend look mature and they’re still a fairly good-looking couple doing healthy activities together. She is of legal age. He has no children, so she doesn’t need to play stepmom. He still dresses youthful. Their dressing complements each other. He still fulfills Instagram boyfriend duties:

They have fun, cycle, go to the beach, have lunch/dinner, get in the hot tub on a yacht in Italy and go to St Barts together. They’re not making each other do activities that discriminates on age. She’s living the lifestyle many other 21-year-olds like her can’t typically acquire it on their own, made possible by Leonardo DiCaprio, and enhanced by his charming companionship, experience and wisdom. The only thing Leonardo can’t offer, that men her age can offer, is a wrinkle-free face. However, there are many things men her age CANNOT offer, that Leonardo CAN offer. Sure, there are young, handsome, successful, famous, rich men, but they’re either using Daddy’s money or if they’re using their own, they’re so busy working they may not be able to have as much fun. Leo doesn’t have a lot of scandals or messy divorces he has to recover from (unlike Brad Pitt, Elon Musk or Johnny Depp). Leonardo isn’t acting like an old man who doesn’t party or prohibits her from doing so, and he has minimal baggage. Leonardo is still considered very much at his prime.

I’m quite sure there are more beautiful women younger than his girlfriends who are willing to date DiCaprio, than there are famous, single, rich, talented, attractive, childless men of Leonardo’s calibre and lavish lifestyle willing to date his girlfriends.

There are many age gap couples with a far bigger gap, with the older man/woman who is not being as rich, famous or good looking as Leonardo DiCaprio, who are showing off their love, some even capitalizing on this trend to get views. Some of these older people even have baggage like criminal records and crazy exes still lingering around demanding child support or if there are no children, cooking up a case for domestic abuse.

It is fair that these older men, who are not looking for marriage or children within a certain time frame, that they be mindful and don’t waste the time of older women who are on a biological clock and want to have kids. You can always make your money back, but not time, especially peak fertility in women. Unfair. Yes, until genetic engineering becomes even more advanced.

I don’t agree that these older men have been shamed for going after younger women especially if he offers her a lifestyle she is unable to attain on her own. I think society shames younger women being greedy and going after older men. They also shame older women going after younger men and same sex age gap couple more - such as Madonna and her boyfriend who almost the same age as her daughter.

Madonna, 61, gets close with 'boyfriend' Ahlamalik Williams, 26, as they relax with her daughter, 23

Relationshipsthat should be shamed are the ones that are toxic even if they’re of similar ages, not age-gap, same-sex, interracial, or social-economical differences. A relationship is a very personal and circumstantial thing with so many factors at play. There’s so much that goes on that goes beyond an outsider’s comprehension. You’re not there when they’re making love to each other. If they’re not abusive or hurting anyone, I don’t see why we should judge anyone’s relationship anymore than we should be evaluating our own relationships.
