It's not only the artwork itself that amazes me, but the gazers and visitors.
These visitors, or “doppelgangers” appear to be miraculously similar to the subject in the original work.
Especially this one:
When an artist creates a piece, he starts out with a blank canvas.
Nothing.
An idea creeps around his brain. This idea develops into a vision.
He picks up a brush, entangles with colors, and begins to paint this vision. The only thing guiding him along the way is this vision.
He continues for hours—Shaping wondering eyes and stroking locks of hair.
These ordinary people, fit these visions. It makes me belive that we are all destined to fit one vision.
We all just happen to be set with the complex task of finding it.
